The Poolside Room offered convenient access to the water, making it easy to unwind after a long day. Enjoyed the tranquility of the adults-only setting, which allowed for a peaceful getaway.
Check-in felt off with an impersonal vibe, lacking the warm welcome expected in paradise. Breakfast options were limited, featuring mainly toast and cereals. No eggs or substantial choices. The lack of a beach made it difficult to enjoy sunbathing, as the area was rocky and not suitable for lounging. The pool also seemed like it hadn't been maintained, appearing dirty and uninviting.

The location of Club Raro is fantastic, just a short drive from Avarua and close to Muri Beach. The Ocean View Room had an amazing view and was clean. The staff truly made the stay enjoyable. they were helpful and always cheerful. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, even if it was basic. The restaurant had great options for lunch and dinner. The cocktails were outstanding! However, the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade, and the rooms could use a little modernization. It would have been great to have a microwave in the room since self-catering options felt limited. The pool was smaller than expected, especially for an adults-only resort. Parking was somewhat limited, so that might be something to consider if you’re renting a car. Despite these issues, the overall vibe was relaxing, and I'd consider returning.

10/10
Bless your heart, the whale show in the ocean was somethin’ else! The staff were like family, always checkin’ on us, makin’ sure we were happy. The swim-up bar? Lordy, what a treat! I reckon I could sip cocktails there all day long. Just wish the old room had a bit more shine to it.

The beach access and friendly staff were highlights of my trip.
The breakfast options were extremely limited, only offering cereals and pastries, which felt disappointing for a hotel claiming to include breakfast. The internet was over-priced, and the small pool often felt crowded, making it hard to relax. Additionally, the air conditioning had issues in my room, leading to discomfort during my stay.

We had a fantastic experience with the great food and cozy ambiance, perfect for unwinding after days of exploring. The only downside was the noise from the nearby activities sometimes interrupted the peace we sought. I'd definitely return for another stay.

It was just a great fit for a short break in Rarotonga with fantastic value for money. The restaurant offered good quality food at reasonable prices. Try to book a room further from the road to avoid noise at night.
